Draft - Jan 25, 2012 Currently living in St. Petersburg, FL but commuting every month to NYC to our business, Voiceovers Unlimited, where we train actors to do radio and TV voiceovers. Attended four schools where I would have been Class of 1956. Columbia Hi in Lake City, FL,Capitol Hill Hi in Okla City, Lee Hi in Jacksonvilee, FL and finally, Bradley Central Hi in Cleveland, TN. Checkered college career included stints at Duke, U of Chattanooga, Stetson U and finally, the U of Miami. Landed a job at WDEF while attending U of Chattanooga. Entertainment editor and newsman on WGBS radio after graduating from U of Miami's radio-TV-film department. With wife Carole, started a small professional theatre company in Coconut Grove, FL which later grew to be one of the state theatres of Florida. One of our productions featured a young actor, Mike Stallone, who later changed his name to Sylvester. Moved to NYC in '77. Various acting, directing, producing gigs. Gradually, moved into voiceovers. Currently, Carole and I have our own company in Manhattan, Voiceovers Unlimited, which includes a training program for voiceovers, a casting company, AAAVoiceCasting, and a greeting card company on line. I continue to do voiceover work which you may have heard on commercials for Mercedes Benz, Prudential securities, Kraft, Ryder Trucks and others too humorous to mention. Some other "low" lites of career. Six weeks on "All My Children"- being a NYPD cop on top of the World Trade Center as Tom Hanks landed in a helicopter - co-starred with Lyle Waggoner of the Carol Burnett Show at the Alhambra Dinner Theatre in Jacksonville - pitched knuckle balls at the old Shea Stadium in NY while shooting a commercial with the Michelin Tire man - voicing a comedy commercial on The Chris Rock show on HBO - produced and acted in "Flight 981" with future Oscar winner Mercedes Ruehl - directing Pat Hingle in a revival of "The Odd Couple" at the state theatre of North Carolin...Expand for more
