Dana's Story
I moved to Seattle in 1998 and am still here. I returned to school in 2005 and earned my AA in Business Information Technology.
I am working as a caregiver for my mother, who is disabled. I am also pursuing my BA in History at Seattle University. So I am keeping busy.
I am hoping to get a horse in the next year or so. I miss going riding so much.
I always thought I would have my own stables when I grew up. My family thought that was a silly...Expand for more
idea. But I still look forward to any and all horse stuff when I can find it. I still want to try and make an Olympic team, although now probably not likely.
My first job was at Buck Norred Stables, where I got paid $3.15 an hour to give kids at company picnics donkey rides. What I remember most about it is the horses and getting ride as much as possible.
I am single and thought I would be married by now. But oh well, that's life sometimes.
