Daniel's Story

Life I've lived in Las Vegas since 1971, graduating from Valley High School in 1973 and jumped into the world of making a living. I've raised 2 kids, Rick who will be 50 Jan.28th and Michelle who will be 45 on Dec. 28th. She and her husband have graced me with 3 grandchildren, Daniel,17 ,years old and Julia, 15 ,and Natalie , 10. My mother passed away in January 2019.Dad passed away in 2001. Most of my family live here. Karen and Janice ( Chickie ), aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins. We lost my younger sister, Janice, in May of 2010. I still have some family left in Connecticut so I visit from time to time. Bob Harrington and I maintained a friendship using this website to get it started. He disappeared in 2009.We also hooked up with Ed Carrasquillo and now Lina Bonnacci ( Marchlinski ), both who live in Florida. It's great to see some of the people that meant the most to me as I was growing up in Connecticut. They are really the only people I remember the most, because of too much moving back and forth across the country during middle and high school years. School became a blur with starting over 4 years in a row. I have a web site , danarcotta.com. I haven't updated the photos in a while, because there are enough photos to see what I can do. I'm not renewing my contractor's license and working through the union for my final 4 years before retirement. . Our precious miniature dachshund , Miru, died in August of 2015 just weeks before his 14th birthday. It was extremely difficult to deal with . We now have Hilo, from Miru's bloodline. He is just over 5 years old now and he's my little kiddo. I have been h...Expand for more
ome for most of his life as I had a heart valve repair which rendered my right leg nearly paralyzed ( LONG STORY ). After 6 months of therapy I was good to go. A couple of months after that, I fell off a ladder and dislocated my right shoulder and suffered a full extension tear of the rotator cuff. Another 6 months of therapy. Every time I get ready to leave the house, Hilo covers me like a hall of fame corner back. It's hilarious. I'm still playing guitar, writing songs and playing guitar at church twice a month. Calvary Chapel Las Vegas. We broadcast live at 9am and 11 am every Sunday pst. You can listen to a few songs I recorded on you tube, search dan arcotta. I can go on and on , but I won't, I've got things to do right now, so bye for now. School School was a blur after the 7th grade. We went from the east coast to the west coast to the east coast to the west coast and finally settled in Las Vegas for my junior year in high school. Are you with me on that one? I had had enough and was on my own 6 months after graduation. College Didn't go. Too much moving and starting over that when my Dad asked me if I wanted to learn the Wallcovering and Painting trade, I said yes. I wanted to get out into the world as fast as possible and it's all been down hill ever since! Just kidding. I've been a Contractor since April 2004 now and being self employed is as rewarding as I thought it would be. It wasn't easy but nothing worth having ever was. If you knew me and want to call,702 429 0498. Workplace I have my own business and if you google my name you'll find it and be able to read about what it is that I do.
