I moved to Portland where I spent the next 4 years working on my masters degree in Intercultural Studies at Western Seminary. During this time, I also discovered Spanish interpreting which I did for a living in hospitals and other places around the Portland area. In 1998, I graduated and left Portland to spend a year in the city of Puebla in Central Mexico. After that, I returned to Eugene where I have been ever since. Careerwise, I have a duel vocation, Spanish interpreting from my home to points all over the country and sometimes beyond. I also teach Spanish, to adults in continuing education at LCC and to children at different private schools around town.
