Life I have been married to Cheryl for 55 years as of Sep. 7, 2023. We have 2 sons. Jason, 52, graduated from West Point in 1993, served over nine years as a pilot in Army aviation, has an MBA from Indiana University, lives in Green Bay, WI with wife Kathy (Purdue pharmacy '95) and our grandchildren Kate, 22, Justin, 20, and Joshua, 18. He is a senior vice president and general manager of Schneider National Trucking Company in Green Bay in charge of all their bulk shipping. Kate graduated this May from Wisconsin Madison and is now working for the University in their Event Planning dept., Justin (twice Wisconsin all-state high school soccer player) began his fourth year of a six-year program at Carroll university in Waukesha on the way to become a physical therapist. Due to the many injuries he received through the years (three concussions, three broken ankles, and numerous knee issues including a torn meniscus his third year) he has decided to discontinue his soccer career. Josh (also an excellent soccer player) graduated with honors from Bay Port high school in June and was named to the Wisconsin all-state academic soccer team. He is also attending Carroll University near Milwaukee as a Physical Therapy major while taking the necessary subjects to apply for medical school after his fourth year if he so desires. All three are outstanding students academically. Jeremy, 46, graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2000 with a degree in architecture, and has a Masters in Logistics management from the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT). After leaving the Air Force as a captain he went to work for Whirlpool Inc. as a Senior manager for customer and appliance care. Last year he accepted a position with Kohler Inc. to run their supply chain division. He lives with his wife, Holly (Notre Dame '99), in St. Joseph, MI.
