Daniel's Story
Life
In 1976, I founded one of the first computer stores in the world, Digital Design. I also worked in my family's importing and retail businesses. In 1995, I was one of the first employees of Root Consulting which became Exinom Technologies in 2000. We joined the INC 500 list in November of 2001 at number 61 of the fastest growing companies in North America. We stayed in the INC 500, but, in October of 2003, we were acquired by Niteo Partners,a subsidiary of NEC. I worked for Niteo Partners, as the Director of Technology, consutling to Fortune 100 companies. Previously, I was the MIS Director of LaRosa's in Cincinnati where I created the system to order food by telephone from a central call center, which was the largest facility for ordering from restaurants in the world.
Since late 1996, I have been creating solutions for such companies as Lucent Technologies, Merrill Lynch, Johnson & Johnson, Honeywell, American Cyanamide, Citigroup, AIG, Merck, Novartis, Altec Lansing, Cuy Carpenter, Revlon and others. You can find out more about me on my Web site which has my name.
I have started a consulting firm, Leinda Corporation, which provides off shore consulting services from India as well as on-site consulting services in the US. This new company finds me commuting between New York and London.
My mother died on December 12, 2006 after a 12 month illness.

College
I started out as a Pre-Med Physics Major, worked on the UC News Record as a photographer and writer, interviewed many including BB King. I also was the only freshman on the UC Cincinnatian Year Book staff. I was given a fellowship in Physics, my freshman year at UC, to investigate phosphorescence phenomena. As a freshman, I had my own lab in the Physics building and was the only undergraduate with a fellowship in Physics. I visited Argone National Labs and promptly exposed myself and fellow students to the radiation of an open reactor. In the Spring of 1970, I started an underground newspaper and by the second issue, I had more advertising and circulation than the UC News Record. I also studied Physics and Pre-Med at Xavier and went for a Masters In Physics at UC, at the same time, but left when my father died. I later received a degree from Xavier University.
