As a freshman, I had my own lab in the Physics building and was the only undergraduate with a fellowship in Physics. I visited Argone National Labs and promptly exposed myself and fellow students to the radiation of an open reactor. In the Spring of 1970, I started an underground newspaper and by the second issue, I had more advertising and circulation than the UC News Record. I also studied Physics and Pre-Med at Xavier and went for a Masters In Physics at UC, at the same time, but left when my father died. I later received a degree from Xavier University.
