Life
Moved to Abilene 1960,enlisted USN 1962,achieved HS GED 1963, Married Pretty Lady from Abilene 1964 , two great children,Teresa (36),Dan II (33).Five (5) Grandchildren !
Divorced 1989,still single.Graduated McMurry University in Abilene 2000!Nothing like graduating from college at
age 55 ! Got an associate degree,after retiring from the USN.Sitting for CPA exam May 2002.Good to see some old names on the BHS graduation list. Update....Feb 2012.... After CPA exam, started to work for DFAS (Defense Financial Accounting Service) in Cleveland, Ohio , transfered from DFAS to FDIC as a bank examiner in Jackson, Mississippi. eral service in 2008. Lost my second born (Daniel II in 2009 at the age of 41. His daughters are still in Norman, Oklahoma. My daughter (A CRNA) Certified Registered Nurse Anesthesist, lives outside of Akron, Ohio.
I am now living in Temple, Texas.....enjoying retired life and my granchildren, when I see them. Both of my kids went to Texas Tech, by the way. I did not know until recently that the Borger Bulldogs were State Finalists the fall of 1962. Almost 50 years late, but congratulations Bulldogs. I'm glad I can say that, even if it is 50 years late. It is better than the alternative of not being able to say it, huh?
