I was pleasantly surprised at the recent West High Reunion how easy and comfortable it was to catch-up a little on the lives of many friends and acquaintances. A little life experience creates a lot of common ground above and beyond high school. Family stories were as prominent as work experiences and both were fun to hear. As for me, I'm the proud father of an almost 20 year-old daughter. She's thriving at the College of Saint Catherine in Saint Paul, MN. My daughter has the great fortune to look like my wife. Mandy is a business major with internship experience with SuperValu's national headquarters. She already thinks like an owner or manager. My wife is another Iowa State Cyclone twice over with an MBA degree on top of her undergraduate. She's a real estate project manager for CB Richard Ellis Trammell Crow in their national accounts division. The current client is Cisco Networking Systems. Lori's projects are scattered around the country from Detroit, Michigan to Seattle, Washington and San Diego, California with many in between.
