Daniel's Story
well I just switched careers. I was working for GM in Lockport for the last almost 12 yrs. The place has been going down hill for ever, And the new contract just signed this past September shows no new work coming to the plant so I decided to apply for CSX railraod. My sisters boyfriend is also a former Delphi / GM plant worker and has worked for CSX now for 6 yrs. and told me about it.

I just finished on Christmas eve 6 weeks of intense school in Atlanta Ga. for a Freight conductor. After that I was sent to Albany (where our division HQ's are) for 2 days to get more books and equipment that i need for the job. Now Iv been working the last couple weeks and like it so far..... It is very difficult to go into the "unknown" without any guarantee that you will like your decision.
