Danielle's Story
Life
Hi all. I am now a Mommy of a terrific 4 year old son named Roan. He is my greatest accomplishment thus far. I also have a degree in teaching which I hope to go back to once my son is in school himself. Oh the joys of motherhood. I am also married to my husband John, whom I like to refer to as my second child. hee. Seriously, he is the breadwinner of the family, so I have to thankful for that. We live in Wixom and enjoy a simple but happy life. We have many family and friends who are helping us on this journey of parenthood, some of whom I went to school with but not many. I think most of us have lost touch with each other, which is a shame as we are not hot young things anymore. hee. We all just have our own lives. If any of you get the chance I would love to hear what your up to, about your own children or spouses, jobs, etc. Take care and RU Rules. hee DDavidPatrick(at)gmail.com
School
Good ole RUHS! I made the greatest friends ever. I have to say that high school for me was the best. I loved Poms and cheerleading, I loved partying-you know if you partied with me ha ha, I loved homecoming and float making, math class with Mr Marulli,...Expand for more
yearbook with Mrs Scott, lunchtime and that awful food-with the exception of the baked potato and salad bar. Oh gosh, the pep rallies, the hall parties at the local VFW hee, football and basketball games and dances, it was all a blast. Thinking back on it, it was probably the easiest and most carefree time of all for me.
Well,Our 20yr reunion is only a few years away. Hope I talk to some of you before then. Take Care and Go Blue!
College
Ahhh, college. The years were filled with so many memories and some I'd like to forget. Academic probation wasn't much fun. Yes, I did too much partying in the beginning but I have learned since then. Eastern Michigan is where I lived on campus and commuted for a time. I got my degree in Elementary Education, remember all your teachers in grade school? Well, I want to help children, be the cool teacher, etc.
Workplace
My work history is long and interesting. First, salesperson at Macy's. Second, teacher and teacher assistant for 7 years. Third, insurance representative for MetLife and General Motors. Last, testing administrator for Prometric Testing Centers. What does the future hold, the skies the limit.
