danielle's Story
We left Oahu, sadly, in 1978....the middle of my Sophomore year. We moved to WA state & I was not happy. Everyone was so pale & strange. As soon as I turned 18 I started moving around & traveling a lot. I lived for 10 years in NYC before returning to WA because my parents were still her. I decided to raise my beautiful daughter, Sofia, on my own & so far she has been the greatest thing in my life. I study Yoga...Expand for more
& work so Safeway which is not a dream job but it pays some of the bills. I think when Sofia turns 18 I will either return to Hawaii or re-locate to Los Angeles. I have to be in the Sun. I returned to Hawaii in June of 2013 & went back to Moanalua. I did not realize how much of myself I had left there. The school looks exactly as it did the last time I was there. I even ran a quarter-mile around the track! :)
