My first job was at Oak Ridge County Club, where I got paid $0.50/hour to pull targets at the Rifle Range. What I remember most about it is you must keep your head down. Who remembers Howards TV & Appliances? I worked there during High School years when I wasn't hanging out at the Grove Pool Hall. Married before graduation, still married to the lovely Linda Graves (remember there were two Linda Graves) after all these years. Attended the University of Tennessee, then Oak Ridge Associated Universities & Roane State Community College. Worked for six years at the Oak Ridge Gaseous Diffusion Plant (K-25), then worked in residential construction (building houses in West Knoxville)before finally getting serious. Returned to college and graduated from Tusculum (Greeneville, TN) in 1992 with BS in Management while working in Loudon, TN producing ethanol (legal moonshine).
