Darlene's Story

Life has been good to me. I got married in 1973. We had one daughter in 1975. I have a 17 year old granddaughter that is absolutely wonderful and talented. I am still married to the same man 45 years later (He claims he has only been married for 15!). I am currently retired from the Baltimore County School system. 60's music is s...Expand for more
till a big part of my life. I love collecting and listening to the oldies, especially Doo Wop. I have not grown "stuffy" with old age, and still love to have fun, dance, and laugh. I have been told I have a "warped" sense of humor. I am enjoying reconnecting with old friends through Classmates, so be sure to email me and say "Hello."

It's been a really hard day. Today would have been Vernon's and my 50th anniversary. Thanks to my beautiful daughter, handsome son-in-law, and totally awesome granddaughter for these lovely flowers to say "We Love You."

It is always nice to be on the winning side, and I was disappointed to say the least, but I would rather be a losing Ravens fan than any other team. I am not a "fickle fan." Still love my guys!
