Life
Hello New Hope Grads!! I live in Decatur, Alabama now and would welcome any correspondence from friends I went to school with--in my class or not. I am married and have two wonderful kids. I am a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and I practice at Decatur General Hospital.
School
I would have to say that Mrs. Brawley and Mr. Roberson inspired me the most. Other notables whom I dearly loved were Mrs. Phillips, Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell, and Mrs. Sadler. After all these years, I have to say that I had terrible crushes on both Terolyn McDonald and Leitha Warren. I never could work up the courage to tell...Expand for more
either of them. Oh well! I wish them both the best of luck. My funniest story was one of the days I skipped school and ran into Mr. Murray at Piggly Wiggly. His only words to me were: "My office. First thing in the morning." I was scared to death. But he didn't do anything to me other than give me a good lecture. Whew!!
College
College was hard work compared to high school. One of my best friends was one of my professors--Dr. Rick Leonard. He and I went through nursing school together. I have fond memories of our friendship and he is still one of the smartest people I have ever met and one of my role models.
