(half) Life has been a series of wondrous nodes: >> This Army Brat was dragged around most of the US before the age of 9, everywhere from NJ-to-WA-to-TX and back again. Also lived in Germany for 3-years as a kid when half the buildings were still rubble from the war - loved it. Parachuted in and out of 10 elementary/JHS before starting HS in Fall River, MA. Still moved around - attended 3 HS in all, MA/NY/KY. Learned to make friends fast. >> After HS tried college for a year but with Vietnam heating up I joined the USAF (TX/MS/OH) - training there established my initial vocation - did not go to Nam; married Connie - very nice lady; finally out of the service in 1968 (Tet); we hopped around OH/KY/IL; divorce. Guess I was not through cooking. >> Back to college - first degree from UK; then to UL where I was lucky enough to teach a few software and math courses; married my heart, Candace Marie (see latest picture of my child bride - wow, she gets younger every day) - not sure how it happened but we produced lots and lots and lots of happy children - Family: Grif, Josh (4 grandchildren) and Heather (5 grandchildren) were 1st; more school - UL; Vanessa was born at home (now that's a great story and btw she's had her 1st child - Kayla, lovely); then picked up another sheepskin at UL; >> Moved family to Orlando, sand, sunscreen & bugs everywhere along w...Expand for more
