Life After school, went to IVCC until I ran out of $ and interest. Got a factory job, lost interest. Left IL for a party in Houston on April Fools day & had so much fun playing the fool, went back to Mars for my belongings on 4th of July,1981... guess I'm old! I worked at the Caterpillar store with my bro & buds while playing softball, raquetball, sax in a rock band, and a little golf. I met a beauty named Jody at a friend's party. She's from Peoria,IL. and I knew it was right...besides, she loves fishing more than I do. So we were married in Tahoe with the family around...another good time. Two boys came along, Matthew & Cody and they're a lot of fun at 13 & 11 (in 2002, born '89 & 91 since I may not update this much) with sports and motocross. They're bigger than mom. With some equipment experience acquired at the Cat house, joined an equipment auction company called Ritchie Bros.(rbauction.com) who had me travelling throughout Texas, then all major cities U.S., South America & Mexico and a little in Europe and South Pacific. Burned out on the travel, I took a transfer back to the Midwest and moved the family to Morris. We built a new auction facility on I80 there, got it going and was transferred back to TX to run the southern division. Now they have me managing Mexico, Central and South America as well as the South Central US, which keeps me travelling as far south as Brazil and Argentina. Still having fu...Expand for more
