David's Story
After graduating from Laurel Highlands HS in Uniontown, PA, I attended West Virginia University where I majored in Electrical Engineering and met the love of my life Susan. Upon graduation, I joined the Navy as a Nuclear Submarine Officer for a memorable and rewarding 6 years adventure. Soon afterward, I attended graduate school at the University of Michigan and completed degrees in nuclear and electrical computer engineering. uction and engineering company in the world. Next, I left Bechtel and helped setup a branch office for TENERA, an elite engineering consulting company. Two years of useful small business experience at TENERA then allowed me with two other colleagues to initiate our own company (Advent Engineering) in 1990. For 20 productive years I led and grew Advent as President and CEO to a desirable acquisition by Tetra Tech, a world-renowned engineering and consulting company. At present, I am retired and enjoying rural life with Susan my wife of over 40 years.
