David's Story
Having spent more than two decades as an entrepreneur, business leader and storyteller, Dave Brown now takes his stories to readers in his first book Dirt Roads and Daydreams.
Dave grew up in Chamblee, Georgia, where he developed an early love for colloquial humor and story telling listening to his Papa entertain customers around a pot belled stove in his little country store in Cumming, Georgia. As a child, surrounded by a loving family, he learned the value of faith, hard work, dedication, imagination and the freedom to daydream.

a successful career as an independent publisher of yellow page directories and began the process of writing down his stories. Dave has a passion for leadership and caring and strives to bring out the best in people as he encourages them to follow their dreams and as an old friend taught him "Stay alive as long as you live".
Dave is an alumni of Furman University where he studied humanities. Dave is married to Sheri and they live in Johns Creek, Georgia with their fourteen year old tomcat Evinrude. Together they have five grown children spread across the country.
