David Court:  

Life After highschool, I went to St. Cloud Technical college and received an associates degree in accounting. In 1996 or 1997 I moved from St. Cloud to the Twin Cities and moved around for a few years until finally settling in Minnetonka, where I have been now for the last 7 years. I worked for Cargill for 9 years, 8 years as an accountant and 1 year as a human resources assistant. While at Cargill, I served on the Corporate Volunteer Council, was one of the founding memebers of The Cargill Rainbow Alliance, an employee resource group for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and allied employees. It was the first employee resource group at Cargill that was created by the request of the employees. It was because of this council that Cargill adopted its Domestic Partner Benefits, and now has many other employee resource groups. In January of 2007 I left Cargill, (not by choice), and have been looking for work, and planning a return to school. I will be attending Normandale Community College starting in June of 2007. I will be pursuing a bachelors degree in business management and human resources. The plan is to go to Nomandale for 2 years to get my generals out of the way before transferring to the U of M (Carlson). I keep myself busy volunte...Expand for more
