After graduation I went to work for Sohigro for the summer then on to Philco-Ford at Connersville for a year. Then, I went to work at Chrysler at New Castle. It took three tries to get my 90 days but, got laid off during the "real" blizzard. All this time I was going to school art IU-East so, I transferred to Ball State joined the Modoc FD in '75 and worked at Parmi Tool in Lynn. I married Peggy Butler, finished BS in '82. I started working for Culberson Ambulance as an EMT and continue to do so, to date. By that time ('82) we had two sons, Randy and Daniel. I got my first teaching job at Gas City in Industrial Arts (the shop guy), spent 6 years there, we had a third son, Robert but, lost Peggy before the final year. Went to work at Union and WalMart for three years, got re-married (mistake). Got back into teaching at Manual HS (rough & tough) then, Connersville, Ft. Wayne Elmhurst (great place but they closed the school), spent 9 years at Centerville HS and got divorced. I got laid off from CHS but, I guess it was meant to be. Mother had a house fire it was a real shock, especially since I was the Chief of Modoc Fire Dept. I spent about a year & half putting the house back.
