David's Story
I came within an eyelash of losing my life in a head-on collision in October 2015. Only by the mercy, grace, love and purposes of God did I survive. In October 2016, I published my first-ever book entitled "Heaven & Hell - A Right Relationship With Our Heavenly Father." The book is a miracle! As a first time author, it took me less than 8 weeks to complete the final manuscript (162 pages) in less than 8 weeks. It is available on-line with my self-publishing firm (FriesenPress) located in Victoria, B.C. It can also be purchased through Amazon. I have since written a second book entitled "The Stigma of Mental Illness...Been There, Am There...Maybe I Could Help?" It is complete, but needs a bit of polishing and I need funds to get it into a production queue with my self-publishing firm. It, too, was completed in a very short period of time. Since then I joined LinkedIn and have published over 100 articles on various subjects. I suppose my calling at age 60-61 is writing and comm...Expand for more
unication with people from all walks of life? I also coach, mentor people for government exams and interviews, having spent 36 years of my working career in policy/programs and human resources with National Defence. I absolutely love animals. We own 3 dachshunds, but unfortunately lost one to liver disease in July 2016. Cried lied a baby...still do at times. I keep myself in shape with long walks and certain other exercises. God bless, and please drop me a line. BTW, does anyone have any information on what Mary Ellen Foley of Cantley, Quebec (back in 1971), when we graduated from St. Patrick's High School, is doing these days. I should have asked her out to the prom but chickened out. She was and imagine still is a really nice person and I would have liked to get to know her better but was more interested skipping class, drinking beer and smoking up. At some point in my life, I finally grew up...I think??? And, as Forrest Gump would say "That's all I got to say about that."
