David's Story
Life
I left Anchorage in 1981 for the "Grandparents" state(Florida).After 4 years of wintering here and summering there, I decided to stay here for good at the request of my employer. He convinced me to get into the golf business and I've been in it ever since. I met my wife of eleven years at the club(in an establishment called The Dickens Inn oddly enough).You don't think she figured I owned it do you? Anyway, we have a 10 year old named Robert.He's no Tiger yet bu...Expand for more
t who needs all that money anyway? My biggest passion is not to beat Tiger but to win a major Bass fishing tournament. If my wife would allow me, I'd fish for a living.She says I fish too much already but "you have to practice if you want to be good" I tell her. We'll be coming to our 25th reunion...do the same if you can.
My husband, David, passed away on October 25, 2013, from kidney cancer. We miss him so very much. Janet, Robert and Mason Dickens. Sarasota, FL.
