Well let me see, I left School thinking I knew it all and found out I didn't know diddle. I went on to be a mechanic at many local shops in the valley being a shop foreman at a couple of them and a asst manager at a local body shop for a while. After local independents kept retiring and having to go out and find another job and start at the bottom and work up the ladder again I found out this was not the way to go. I finally Landed a job with the State of California At Caltrans in San Diego as land scape maintenance worker. After 1 1/2 yrs I moved up to a equipment operator 1 and made my way back to Brawley where I just passed the test for operator 2 and am waiting to move on up to that somewhere in the valley when they get an opening. I have been married three times and have four wonderful children two boys two girls Bobby, Mindy, Scotty and Shannon all of whom are grown and on their own.
