David's Story
I graduated from San Lorenzo High in 1958. One of my main interests while in high school was flying. I worked around the Hayward airport where I learned to be an aircraft mechanic and got a pilots license. After High School,I attended College of San Mateo and studied aeronautics. ssna aircraft distributor at the Oakland airport. In 1964 I was hired by TWA as a pilot. I flew with TWA for 35 years and retired as a senior Captain in 1999 with more than 25,000 hours of flying time. I now live in Livermore, CA, am still married to Denise, and have two grown daughters and three grandsons. My hobbies now are reading, riding BMW motorcycles, and flying old airplanes.
