David's Story

Life Update... Until April 2003, I worked as part of the management of the worlds ONLY robot combat (ala BattleBots) club, in charge of all video and computer systems. I am told I was the first one to ever put robot combat on DVD for public sale. I now have 3 DVD's to my credit. The business folded because the owner was the guy who invented the search engine LYCOS, and thus a millionare, and wanted the place 5 min from his home. End result, bad location, business closed. I used to work as a Systems Engineer for the US division of an international company. The company is HQ ed in...Expand for more
Pittsburgh, so when on a project the company flies me to the east coast to work. I was even fortunate enough to be flown to Greece for a week to study and tour the first part of May (During the time the Pope was there.) On May 18th, 2001 however, I was laid off and decided to move to just outside Pittsburgh, PA to look for work and be with the love of my life. I was also co-owner of a video production company/photography studio (Turkey Creek Productions) prior to my move. I still have some ties to the studio dispite the move. I can be reached at bootsnspurs at gmail dot com.
