Hi Everyone, After graduating from JFK Class of 1970, I had no idea what I would do next. So before summer was over and through celebrating my new found freedom and lack of a better plan, I enrolled at the U. of Guam. After all those years of having to attend classes, I actually looked forward to going to class. Then I took up surfing and spent all my free time at Talafofo Bay soaking up the sun and riding the waves. My dad's tour on Andersen AFB was over at the end of my freshman year and he received "orders" to Sault St. Marie, MI. So I decided to stay on Guam, move into the dorms and continue my education not to mention enjoying surfing. After a year of record snow at Kinchloe AFB, my dad decided to retire from the Air Force so I was given the choice of returning to the states at gov't expense or pay my own way back. So, I reluctantly packed up and moved to Tampa, FL. I worked for the city of Tampa for about nine months before deciding to join the Air Force myself.
