After I left Cleveland High School in 1961 I earned degrees at Pierce College (AA Liberal Arts), UCSB (BA Economics), and Southwestern College (AS Real Estate) and I lived and worked in Alaska, Spain, and Mexico. I once lived in a mushroom cellar in Las Palmas, Grand Canary Island. But that’s another story. On January 10, 1977 I met my wife Olga on an old bus in Mazatlan and we got married there on December 17, 1977 in the Mazatlan Cathedral. Our children Diane, Paul, and Karen are all doing well. Diane’s daughter Daniela Cristina was born in Spain on March 25, 2011 and I am happy to be her Abuelito. In San Diego County I worked for the San Diego Housing Commission and I was the Business Development Coordinator for the City of Oceanside. I obtained my California Community College Instructor Credential at UCSD in 1981 and started teaching Business, Finance, Real Estate, and Appraisal in most of the Community Colleges down here.
