It is always interesting to know what has go on with someone since they graduated high school, I hope you find my story interesting. As most of you know the family was in the Automotive business since the 40's, and in late 68 purchased the VW dealership in Greeley Colorado. The family moved to Greeley in early 69, and I remained in the Fort Collins family home during my senior year.. After graduation the home was listed for sale, and I sayed ther to take care of the home. I had my bed room furinture, some kitenchen items, the boat moured at horsetooth, and worked for Bartran Homes making $1.25 per hour. The house sold in late summer and I moved to Greeley to join the family, met some new people, and a few weeks later was off to Westen State in Gunnison Colorado. Western State was great,... too great. Met some people, got on the ski patrol and skiied 107 times that season, had some of the most memorable times in my life, but class studies was not one of them. The snow melted, school ended for me at Western State, had my heart broken and destroyed, and i was out of Gunnison Colorado to Mesa State in Grand Jununction Colorado, "Big J". Mesa State and Grand Junction was good. I changed some things, good grades, got on the Ski partol again, only had my heart hurt this time (is there a patern here?) but although I have great memories, and times, this place was not for me and when school ended, it was back to Greeley, not to the family home, but to a local appartment. I moved in with a friend of mine and we were soon joined by two cocktail waitress we knew. It was a summer to remember, but after summer comes fall and each of us was headed to a different University. I was headed to Michigan, Northwood University, and a large culture change.
