David's Story
Life
In June of 1998 I married a wonderful woman, and since then we have become best friends. We have four wonderful children. Three boys and a girl. We now have two grandchildren, a boy and a girl. We have a deck in our backyard that we enjoy a lot down here where it is warm (unlike Wisconsin!!). We enjoy spending time as a family and attending sporting events, theme parks and concerts. Our youngest son keeps us very busy with sports and martial arts.
On April 2, 2006 I was saved and soon after baptized. Since then my family and I have become very active in church. My wife and I act as Youth Leaders at our church and our youngest son is very active in our Youth group. It has been a wonderful improvement to our lives and I thank God that I finally found Him. It amazes me every day that Jesus paid the price for all of us. I know that I am not worthy of that price but I have tried very hard to be a better person ...Expand for more
and live my life for him. I worry about my friends and family that do not know him because eternity is a long time to be separated from Him. I hope and pray that they will come to know him and realize that He is the only way to Heaven. I hope that my life is a positive display of his love and what it can do.
Workplace
Still in the Navy, for over 21 years now. I am currently enjoying my last shore duty, trying to finish up my degree and preparing for retirement in the next few years.
Military
I have been stationed in: Orlando, Florida, Groton, Connecticut, Norfolk, Virginia, Great Lakes, Illinois, Kings Bay, Georgia and Bangor, Washington. I have been to Williamshaven, Germany, Helensburg, Scottland, Bergin, Norway, Brest, France, Toulan, France, Rota, Spain, Cartagena, Spain, LaMaddelena, Italy, Gibralter, A British Colony, Suda Bay, Crete, Rosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico, Andros Island, Bahamas, Pearl Harbor, Hawii.
