David's Story
Left Arkansas to go to college and never returned except to visit, and of course in my dreams. I hope to have my ashes spread someday across Petit Jean Mountain and in the Buffalo River.
Graduated from Eckerd College, St Petersburg, FL with a degree in Psychology. Then got an MBA from UNC-Chapel Hill during the Michael Jordan years. My career has been a marriage of Business and Psychology.
I married my college sweetheart, Allison, and we'll celebrate our 28th anniversary in Nov. Daughters, Gillian and Haley, 19 & 17 respectively are draining the college coffers. Gillian is at UNC-Asheville studying spanish and creative writing. She's also a wilderness guide leading high adventure trips in the NC mountains. Haley is a HS senior, a gifted student in all things NOT math or science.....she's a dancer, singer and actress which suggests she's postiioned for a life of glitz, glamour and ......poverty.

vely invade the space of our daughters. WE both are pretty liberal environmentalist, save the world types. Personally, I love photography, fishing and golf, but have little time for any.
10 years ago I formed a consulting partnership with a man who would become my closest friend and colleague, Rob Goldberg. We are like the Laurel & Hardy of the field of Organizational Development and Change....He, a skinny jew from Brooklyn, me a "well-rounded Presbyterian from the cotton (soybean?) fields of Arkansas. Our clients are large companies undergoing significant strategic change...clients like Macy's, Saralee, RJReynolds Tobacco to name a few.
I'm also a professional speaker giving keynotes at large association conferences for corporate audiences in the private sector, healthcare, and higher education. My subject is Individual and Organizational Change. My keynotes are frequently populated with illustrative stories from my youth in West Memphis, so no doubt, some of my classmates are featured characters.
