David's Story
Life
Married to DeAnn.
5 Kids: 3 Boys, 2 Girls.
I work as a Technical Analyst at the Intermountain Power Plant.

College
The summer after high school, I attended BYU for 2 semesters, intending to study Geology.
After my mission to Concepcion, Chile, I enrolled at Utah Technical College to study electronics. I was graduated in 1984 with an Associates Degree in Electronics Technology.
While working at IPP, I enrolled in the University of Phoenix and was graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
The rest of my education has just been hard-knocks!
Workplace
During high school I worked as a summer turkey farmer and as a maintenance worker at the Juab County Hospital. I even once worked for a circus!

jobs - dishwasher, groundskeeper, electronic parts specialist - while going to college.
I spent 2 years on an LDS mission in Concepcion, Chile.
I worked briefly as a laborer at the Martin Marietta Cement Plant near Lynndyl.
I was hired and trained as a switchyard operator for Intermountain Power Service Corporation (IPSC) at IPP near Delta. My current position is Technical Analyst. I have worked for IPSC since completing college in 1984 and plan to work here until I retire.
I have served 14 years on the town council in Oak City . I have been the General Manager for the Oak City Electric Department during that time. I was recently re-elected for another 4-year term.
I have worked in various church callings, including: scout master, cub leader, ward financial clerk, elders quorum president, sunday school teacher, etc.
