David's Story
David is from Meridian, New York. David's schools include starting at Port Byron Central School, Union Springs Central School, Elbridge Central School, Cato-Meridian Central School. Three year stint in the Marine Corps. Oswego State Teachers College, (Ind. Arts Education, Drivers Education). SUNY Oswego .State University of New York College At Brockport. David works at Retired.

After graduating from SUNY Oswego with a BS degree in 3 years taught Industrial Arts for 4 years at Adams Center HS, Adams, NY. I worked on and received my Masters Degree in Industrial Arts Education at SUNY Oswego.
Took a position as Industrial Arts Instructor and Dept. Chairman at Adams Center Central School for 4 years.
Was offered a position at Westlake High School in Thornwood, N.Y where I taught Industrial Arts and was Dept. Chairman. I taught there for 4 years and than received a Federal Grant in Educational Research. I attended SUNY Brockport for two years and became certified as a Secondary School Principal, Certification as Chief School Officer, and certified in Educational Research.

ved to Oneonta, NY as Associate Director of The Catskill Educational Planning Office for Evaluation. Spent three years there and than accepted a position as Director of the Central NY Educational Planning office located at that time in Syracuse later moved the office to Mexico, NY. Federal grant money ran out so that office had to be closed. Than accepted a position as Director of the Northern NY Educational Planning office. when the Federal funds ran out for this office it was closed. I than moved to South Carolina as Director of an Educational Development Team to improve the quality of Instruction at Greenville Technical College. Greenville Tech. is the largest Technical college in the state. Held that position for three years till again the Federal dollars ran out. I then was offered a position as Piedmont Technical College in Greenwood, SC. I retired from there in 1981. Have been retired since. Worked in my home woodworking shop until about three years ago.
My wife passed on April 15th of 2011. My wife and I had five children. Three boys and two girls. Have 12 grandchildren.
Have my youngest son living in a second house I own next door and another son and his wife living with me with three daughters living here too. One granddaughter is married and looks after me. Two are in college and the remaining daughter lives in NH.
