David's Story
I retired after more than 38 years in law enforcement, but am still doing some contract work as a court liaison and inspector with another agency in N.B. Two of my favourite past-times during the summer are motorcycling and hiking.
I've got a vintage 1978 Honda 750 CBK, which I bought as my first and only bike in 1980, for only $2000. I usually ride it to work - rain or shine - from March to late November.

the following year, we did Mt. Carleton, the highest mountain in N.B. These and other ascents that followed led to the one I am most proud of, Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. In June, 2013, my daughter and I completed a successful 7-day trek summiting "Kili", including an overnight at the Crater Camp during a super moon.
Since then, I've also been fortunate to have hiked down the Klein Matterhorn in Switzerland and completed Lion's Head and Table Mountain in Cape Town, South Africa.
