Dawn's Story
Well, I'm using this story wizard thing since I'm not sure how to go about this type of writing. I can do technical writing like there is no tomorrow, but this type of thing sucks.
So, how do I hope old friends remember me? Well, I would hope they would remember me for who I was and not who I was associated with. Things that happen in your life influence who you hang out with. I had some tramatic events happen in my early years in high school and in effected my thoughts on the world & life and how it all fit together. Unfortuneately, people who I thought were good friends totally abandoned me. It was sad, but I guess it had to be. I truely believe people come into your life for a reason, the time with them leaves you with knowledge, and then they leave and go on thier way. Some time what they give lasts your whole life, some times it is only a glance in the hall.
I always wanted to be a successful person when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out they were partly correct. You'll see in my timeline that a huge event took place in 2007, that put my whole life on hold.
At this point in my life my favorite way to relax is to hang out listen to music, podcasts, watch my favorite crime shows or cook!
We won't go into the wildest thing I ever did in high school because it could get some people in trouble to this day. Let's just leave this one be. ( ha, I don't even remember it at this point )
If I'm goint to work somewhere, I ned to have a great car, good shoes, and great clients to be able to deal with the day-to-day...Expand for more
. Since I don't work anymore, none of this really matters. I do what I want these days. I'm officially retired!
Do I have a hero? Well, I never really thought I would have one, but I actually do these days. His name is Michael Rosner and he is the person responsible for my amazing brain surgery. This dude is incredible! Heck, for what he had to do I have only a thin scar. I've seen similar brain surgeries that left monstrous, nasty looking scars, but mine is great and my results are more than I expected. ( my uprooting 2007 life event )
At this point I live in Waterville, WA, which is only about A 3-4 hour drive from where I grew up. I moved here because I love the area Iand my son is in a great school within a 2 hour drive.
The one person from my past that I'd like to see again is Maze. More of an influence on me than he knows.
My obsessions: good books! great food! true friends and honest people, small towns.
Life doesn't always turn out the way you expect, my biggest surprise so far has been my brain surgery.
If I could improve my home, I wouldn't. Just had this one custom built.
If I won $100 million, I'd give some to family and some of it to friends, then spend the rest on my kid, my family and myself.
My best friend would tell you I'm a very understanding and supportive person, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as standoff'ish.
I share my home with my mom, son, dog, cats, which I find over the top some days.
In 10 years, I hope to be alive. I'm going to get there by taking care of myself and being self aware.
