I didn't actually graduate from MPHS. I left in my Junior year and went to an alternative HS. I was tired of the BS that the Chicago public school system and the Teacher's union were putting us through that year. "Will they strike? Won't they?" I couldn't take it any more. School was in and out of session because of strikes and contract negotiations - I felt I was wasting my time at a place that didn't really care about the students at all. So, I left, graduated in 3 months and enrolled in Columbia College Chicago. I studied Film, Radio and T.V. Eventually, I graduated with a B.A. degree in Communications, with a major in Television(Wow, I had no idea you could actually do that).
