Life
I can't believe its been 40 yrs. since the highschool years. I have been married to the same man (Fred Kropla) that I met at 14 yrs. old and was married to so very young , all those many yrs ago. I have three children and 8 grandchildren. The first years of our marriage were spent in the army, stationed mostly in Alaska. Than in 1968 we moved to Bremerton Wa. where we raised our three children. I retired last year after owning a preschool for the last twenty years. I enjoy quilting, reading, traveling, and now I am waiting for my husband to retire after 33 years working for the government at the Puget Sound Naval Sh...Expand for more
ipyard. We are trying to decide if we'll move or just stay here awhile longer. We love the area, but our sons live in eastern wa. So its been our thought to maybe head that way and try dessert living. Our daughter's husband is in the military, so we travel to see her and the grandchildren frequently. I don't get back to Wi. much anymore, every two or three years. But its always enjoyable when we do. I still read the Tomahawk Leader every week, so I keep a connection to the Northwoods area. Life has been very good to us, a good family, good friends, a wonderful church family, a beautiful area to live in ,and now retirement.
