Dawn's Story
What have I been doing since High School?
During shool and after I finished school, I had to work to help support my family so college got put on the back burner and was delayed for me. I finally went back to school for my Associate Degree in 2000 and then for a Bachelor Degree that I just completed in December of 2007.
I do not have any children. I am considering foster parenting or adopting a child when I get more settled in my career. Unless Mr. Right happens to come into my life and I end up having a baby the natural way. :)
I was with Willy Snyder for MANY years. He is also an Adams City alumni. We got married after dating/living together for more than 10 years. And unfortunately we were one...Expand for more
of those couples that dated/lived together for many years and then got married and were divorced after only 2 years. I never thought I'd be one of those people that would get divorced, but here I am and life goes on. That which does not kill us makes us stronger right?
I am still the best of friends with Gina Kemp, Yolanda Cordova, and Karla Vanzant (now Sewald). I have learned that true friends are what really keep us going and give us the strength to carry on when life gets tough. I'm lucky to have such great friends to share the good and bad times of life with.
Now that I have received my bachelor degree I am trying to start a new career and am ready for the next chapter of my life to begin.
