Dawn's Story
Life
After High School I joined the Army Reserves. After an injury sidelined me I came home 3 months later. I had my first son in 1995, and He just started 4th grade this year. My daughter was born in 2000, and is now in Kindergarten. We moved to Florida in 2002 after the 9/11 attacks, and My youngest son was born in 2003. We went from snow and cold to Hurricanes and Heat. After the Hurricane season in 2004, our house had been damaged by the last 2 Hurricanes, Frances and Jeanne. Now we live in the country in a town with less than 1,000 residents. Life is good, especially when you have to drive through orange groves everyday just to get to town. I wouldn't give it up for the world.
I think now that I have grown up and have children of my own, I have really thought about people I have known through out the years. I have lost contact with everyone since moving to Florida, but I am in Michigan at least once a year to visit family. I hope to one day hear from alot of ...Expand for more

We are now a military family and proud of it. My youngest brother is a PFC in the US Army. My ex husband is in the Army as well, and we are raising an Army brat together. Any one with any knowledge of the military knows how hard it is to serve and protect our nation, but not everyone knows the sacrifices that are made by the soldiers and their families. I hope that my kids will grow up and be proud of their Uncle and their Dad. I am really looking to hook up with other army spouses, to support each other.
My major hobby for the last 10 years has been in restoring and rebuilding mustangs. We are working on cars number 4 and 5 and loving every minute. I hope to one day have a car that can run in the local races, and be able to keep my head up high. Other than that, I stay home with my kids and like the job I have chosen. I am in school however to become a paralegal. Once the Baby goes to school I hope to put my degree to good use.
