Deborah's Story
Life
After graduating from DePaul University w/a BS in Chemistry, I got a job at Abbott Labs and bought myself a Corvette for all those years of hard work. I met my wonderful husband through a friend and we got married on a beach in Florida. I am currently working part-time on my Masters at Marquette University. My husband and I are thinking of starting a family, but waiting until I'm done w/school.
College

at parties were on Thursdays, but I held on to my scholarship and graduated w/a B average. Was on the dance team for 3 years so I had floor seats to all the home basketball games. Graduated w/a BS in Chemistry and a double minor in Math and Art.
Workplace
I got hired into Abbott as a contractor in 1999. By January 2000, I was offered a permanent position in a QA lab. I now work as an analytical chemist developing and validating chemical test methods (mostly chromatography).
