Dean's Story

Life After graduating H.S., I attended Central Univerity of Iowa (Central College). I had the privilege of playing 4 years of NCAA football where my fondest memory was competing with my teammates in a national championship bowl game (Alonzo-Stagg). In addition, I pledged a fraternity where I developed a strong bond with my fellow brothers and was introduced to my wonderful wife, Teresa, at a social function. After completing college we decided to marry and move back to Wheaton, IL and raise a family. This is when our wonderful son, Tyler, was born! We reside in Naperville, IL, and I currently serve as VP for a national logistics company. Tyler participates in football and volley ball and will be a H.S. junior next fall. He is the owner of proud parents. As the years pass, I make an effort to stay in touch with my H.S. friends. I would like to hear from more of my classmates. Please send me an e-mail anytime. College Please read more in my life bio. I currently work for a logistics company (3PL) in Naperville, IL, managing corporate warehousing, distribution and transportation. Looking back on my college years, I only have a few regrets. Of course, with the knowledge I have today there are those situations I would have handled differently. I took a lot for granted. Overall, I am pleased with the Central College experience. The one organization, which I embarked, that was most influenential was my fraternity ( Phi Delta Tau). Through participating, I have realized an unmatched brotherhood. Many lessons learned while active as a "Phi Delt" apply directly to real life and business circumstances. I thank Central College for providing our student body the opportunity to engage in such an enterprise. In retrospect, I have a greater appreciation for Central's philosophies on education and their liberal arts track. Best wishes to all. Deano
