e key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everyone." -- Bill Cosby". More about Dean: "I try to live everyday of my life as if it was the last! I am happily married to the lady who's has been my friend, my partner, and my love. I also have a beautiful baby girl who is the beat of my heart, the love of my world. I love music, I've played guitar and bass since I was 10 years old. I am blessed to have had Howard Pelky as a mentor and male figure who took the time to share his dream and love for music! Also Don Comack who shared his zeal for music. I cherish my years I served to protect this Great Nation of People called Americans! Notice I say people Not Politicians, there are a few I support, but I feel most are not worthy of the Office they serve in, because they are bought by companies and old monies and do not serve the people whom they serve, it's a priveldge and they've forgotten this. The days spent in Vincenza Italy with my Unit 3/325ABCT, allowed me to work with some of the most dedicated, hard working, and just plane crazy Paratroopers I am proud to call Brothers and Friends! I am Proud we served in "Operation Provide Comfort" and served to protect and reestablish the Kurdish People's. Only regret was the loss of PFC Lars Chew, lost to a landmine! I was diagnosed with Chronic Myloid Luekemia in 2006. I take medicine to maintain blood levels but continue to suffer from Depression, IBS, Bone/muscle Pain and struggle with Chronic Fatigue, which now lots my work days to 3 days a week. I have been blessed to have been given this chance to reevaluate the important things in life, family, friends, love and forgiveness! When life is taken from you it's amazing how life's painting in front of you recreates it's drawing of life with different shades of colors and shapes. Life's perspective dramatically recreates itself and help rewrite your life's path, to embrace those things that are truly important! Not last but my mother and sister have a special part of my heart, as well as Brian Pelky, Scott Bolliger, David Morris, Paul Hamilton and Shaun Christofferson are my friends and extended brothers whom have helped shaped my world and path to get me were I am today and I Love each one of them.".
