Dean's Story
Some may remember I was an AV volunteer (sure beat study hall) and I helped with lighting on the school plays and I was in the band - trombone.
I still like technical things. I am a licensed Amateur Radio operator (along with our son.) I continued with theatre lighting in college and some community theatre for 3-5 years. I played in college bands (including one school I never attended.) For over 10-years I played with the 1st Brigade Band, a re-creation of a union army band from 1864. I met my wife, Nancy, in bands (she plays trumpet.) We have been married since 1979 and we both continue to play. Today we play in three different community bands. One concert band has over 60 musicians and plays 4 concerts and approximately 6-parades each year, including the NB 4th of July Parade. (search mmccband.) homes around the metro area using popular band music to bring back memories of former times. (FB- Milwaukee Letter Carriers Band.) And in 2017 we began to play with the Greendale Village Band. Catch a gazebo concert in the village over the summer or see one of the other band performances and be sure and say hello. We also both enjoy nice cars.
I follow people on LinkedIN, and politics via cable and internet surfing. I believe in FREEDOM and free enterprise. I have been involved in several commercial sales businesses. Today I consult with businesses on Unique (software) Solutions to digitize employment records and help keep the business compliant with time & attendance regulations. I'm also licensed and offer programs to educate individuals on smart money savings alternatives that track market indexes, but, are considered less risky than being invested in the markets yourself, because there is less risk of losses with usual market fluctuations. I'm not retired, just slowing down some.
