Deana's Story
Life
I got married in 1983 to Gayland Lewis,a wonderful man. We just celebrated our 26th anniversary! My son Brent is now 23 and we're very proud of him. I have worked for SunTrust Bank for 25 years and hold the position of First Vice President and Florida Community Development Manager. We moved to Pensacola right after our wedding and have lived here for 26 years. We own property in NC near the Smoky Mountains and love to vacation there at least twice a year. I travel a lot with my job and am very involved in the community. I had cancer in 1999 and have had additional health problems, but I am doing well now and I thank God for all the many blessings He has given me. I hope all of you are living the good life.

om. I loved going to the football games and hanging out with my friends at the Pizza Inn. I remember driving my great grandmother's 1963 Dodge Dart to school. The gas gauge didn't work, so I used my lunch money to put gas in it every day to make sure I wouldn't run out. The car would only squeal out around right turns. It beat riding the bus.
Workplace
I went to work for Stuart's clothing store in Edgewater Mall while still in High School. I transfered to Jackson in 1979 and became a manager. I came back to the coast and went to work for Coastal Machinery, the John Deere Dealer in 1980. I worked there for 3 years, but left when the company moved to Penascola. I met my husband, Gayland there and he still works for them today in Pensacola. I went to work for SunTrust Bank in 1983 and I am still there today.
