Deanna's Story
Life
After high school I joined the Air Force. After spending 4 years at Keesler AFB, MS, I got out and returned to KY for a year. I married a Seabee, Navy, got divorced and remarried him again. We have been remarried for almost four years now. We have lived in Biloxi,Mississippi, Helsinki, Finland and we are currently stationed in Kings Bay, GA. I am not working right now because the job opportunities are really bad here. No little ones and no plans for any. Just us and the dog and cat. Life is great right now.
School
I started out in Meade County High School. I moved after my mom r...Expand for more
emarried and then we went to Germany for 2 years. Those were the best high school years. I ended up back at North for my senior year. I only attended school for half a day and left after lunch to work. School was fun and I met great people but don't want to do it again.
Military
My military time was great. I met a lot of great people whom I won't ever forget. We had some great times at Keesler. I actually met my husband there. Him and some of his friends from the Seabee base crashed our bonfire on the beach. I like the military but like being a military dependent and wife much better.
