Debbie's Story
Debbie Alley married Victor Smith (class of 73) in Dec. 1973. She moved to Va. and then to TN.
Her only child, a son, was born in March of 1977. She an he family returned to Fl and lived in Gainesville, Clearwater and Orlando Fl. Victor and Debbie were divorced after 13 years of marriage. She then remarried two years later, becoming
Debbie Barfield in 1989. She and her husband lived in Clermont, Fl until 2005 when she and her husband moved to North East TN. She has two grandc...Expand for more

She worked for SunTrust Service Corp for 27 years until she was laid off due to a reduction in force. Since that time she became a Certified Christian Counselor and counseled at risk teenagers, worked in a Christian Book Store & Coffee Bar, opened her own Floral business, helped her husband open his own Sign business, worked as a substitute teacher, and a receptionist at a busy chiropractic office. She is now retired and
enjoys spending time with her husband and family.
