Debbie's Story
After graduating from OHS, I decided to have 4 children, Jim, Mike, Kristen & Alyssa along with going to college (yes, I must be crazy!), I became an LVN in 1989, then a Registered Nurse (Butte College) in 1994 then continued to obtain a BS/BA from University of Phoenix (1998), then continued on & obtained a Masters degree in Behavioral Science Negotiation and Conflict Management in 1999(CSUDH), and most recently obtained a Masters in Nursing (CSUDH). completing my final adventure as I will be a Nurse Practitioner before this year (2009) ends! During all this time, I now have 4 grandchildren (Alexis, Mike Jr., Ashlynn, Keira) and have remained married to Frank x 22 years. In my spare time I run, kayak, swim, bike and volunteer (working the medical unit) at the Ironman in Kona, Hawaii. For work...... I have been employed by Oroville Hospital for 23 years and I'm currently the Hospitalist Program Coordinator.
