Grew up in Hickory, PA - lived there until the 8th grade. Then my family moved to Walpole, MA where I graduated (1970). I went to Mass General Hospital School of Nursing & earned my R.N. in 1973. Worked at the MGH in the Neuro-surgery ICU, the Burn ICU, Cardiac ICU & the ER. Went back to school at Emmanuel College & received my BA in Economics in 1980. I then went to school at Harvard University Ext. & received my C.S.S. in Administration and Management in 1986. I earned my BSN from Emmanuel in 2009 and received my Masters in Science in Healthcare Informatics and Management at UM Lowell. Gregory, my oldest is 42 and finished his masters degree at BU in Philosophy, Theology & Ethics. He also received his post graduate degree there. He's now at BC finishing his Master's degree in Education. He's been married for 14 years to Yana Khalina & has a 13 year old daughter, Seraphima. It's GREAT to be a Grandma!! Yana is from Russia & has her PhD in biophysics. Jessica, my daughter, is now 39, she received her degree in Education from Emmanuel College. She then moved to Japan to teach, then to Denver, CO, is now teaching Science in Reading at Parker Middle school and living in North Reading with her husband, Kerry and their two children Joey who is 6 and Lilly who is 3 1/2..
