My life has been fast -- seems that days melt into years. Where did it all go & where did that hint of gray I see come from? Spent almost 25 years in high tech sales (who wudda thot); the final 12 as VP Sales & Marketing in video compression (read: DVD/broadcast industry). Almost 5 years ago, I was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroendocrine cancer... which finally has brought inner peace and balance to my life. I was told by scientists & doctors that my cancer is incurable and that I'd die in 5 years ... no sign of it yet! Now that it's 5, they say 10 or 15. I think I'll keep pushing the envelope ... :-) There have been many ups & downs throughout the last 5 years. 4 years ago, my doctors told me that if I didn't stop working, that the stress would kill me. So, I must admit, not working gets boring sometimes, and the lack of stress certainly took some adjustment. I had never imagined a life without working!
