Debi's Story
Well....life according to me...
After high school and a few quarters of aimless wanderings at PC, I dropped out to work for a while and try to figure out what I wanted to do career wise. I ended up moving to Tacoma after the bank I was working at merged with Columbia bank then Key Bank. I got married, had my Son, got divorced, found out my Son has autism, moved back to PA. After all those wonderful highs and dismal lows, I decided to go back to school. I met back up with Shawn Van Giesen through Rob Knight (Thank you so much Robbie!!) Shawn and I have been together and very happy ever since. We moved back to the big city for work, university for me so I could finish up my four year degree, ...Expand for more
and so my Son could attend an autism program through school. Shawn and I married in 2004. It was a wonderful wedding in Shawn's Grandparents back yard. We had family there from all over the country and England too! The truly strange part of the day was that we figured out that Shawn's Uncle knew one of my Aunt's in high school back in Lake Stevens and that my grandparent's farm was about a mile away from Shawn's Grandparent's house.
Anyhow, fast forward to now, my Son Simon is now in high school, he just went to his first dance and is looking forward to going to the prom this spring. (Scary how quick they grow up...isn't it?)
Shawn and I happy... sounds kind of sappy but it's true :o)
