Deborah's Story

Life Spent a lot of time in school. Spent a lot of time traveling. Still haven't dived the Great Barrier Reef, learned to fly or climbed Everest. Retired, going back to school. Am still living a life of exploration. Don't intend to ever stop. I expect to be carried feet first out of my current home about 40-50 years from now. School There's a lot I would do differently re HS, mostly, not put myself through that again. And maybe a different closet of clothes. College BS in Horticulture/Business - it sucks trying to make a living doing horticulture MS in Intelligence - really hard on your stress levels trying to guess what the terrorists are goi...Expand for more
ng to do next Started at least one other Masters program before I got bored with the subj. Lots of credits here and there, to include a lot of computer LAN/MAN work. Currently back in school getting teachers certs in Biology and General Sciences. Have finished the teacher's cert, didn't get the jobs I applied for, so will work on the paperwork to do sub work - it's more than applying for a job!!! Am really enjoying staying home and finishing some of the multitude of projects I have started over the years. Unfortunately, the library is growing faster than I can read the books. One of these days, I will have to get serious about weeding them out - nahhhh.

I've been wondering just how far Republicans are going to take their war on women.
Nose just barely inbetween the bars, just enough to hold his head steady.
You can just make out his back leg stretched out to keep him on the step.
I've waited 3 years for this peony to bloom... it was worth it.
The first military member who died in service that I personally knew was CAPT Bill Nordeen. It was 1988 and I had spent a week escorting the Greek CNO, General Vasilikopolous. CAPT Nordeen was the attache in Greece and wa
Linda's tree is still blooming strongly. Red Hawthorne.
My last rhodie to bloom. I love the color, just wish the deer would stop stropping on it.
The foxglove is just starting to show color.
Beautiful ferny leaves, but deadly to lifestock. Tansy Ragwort. This will be pulled.
I've been fascinated with snapdragons since someone showed me how to turn them into a puppet as a child. I love the deeper colors
This is my second sweep of bearded iris. I get almost a month of blooming from them.
Weeding never stops and I was mindlessly pulling when I realized I had seedling asparagus coming up OUTSIDE the asparagus bed. I scattered all the seeds from last year, but some migrated. These two will get transplanted B
My best friend Linda Aldous died 11 or 12 years ago. Because she loved birds so much, every year at Christmas I'd send her a bird ornament, and I'd get one for myself to put on my tree. After she died, I didn't buy any bi
Outside looks reasonable, but the insides slid around.
Quite a bit of space beside and above the packets.
Gorgeous red columbine snuggled amidst the oregano.
I went DOWN IN FLAMES!

My brother Matt who woke up from a 10 day coma after a helacious motor cycle accident.
Wasn't that many years ago... Tigger was a pup. All the wrinkles go away if you lift your chin up high
